The C.H. Booth Library has a number of business directories in their reference department. Residents with a library card are provided with access to Reference USA which allows you to search 14 million U.S. businesses and 1.5 million Canadian businesses by name, type, size, location, etc. Reference USA also contains a database for 120 million households. This reference is available to card holders from remote locations.

The North American Industrial Classification System provides a six-digit classification for economic activity in the US, Canada & Mexico based on sectors of the economy. You may search businesses by sectors.
