It’s National Volunteer Month – put your expertise to work for good with SCORE

During April – National Volunteer Month – Newtown Economic and Community Development Dept. wants to recognize the many wonderful SCORE volunteers past and present, who have helped Newtown residents begin or enhance their local business journey. 

We are truly grateful for the time and energy each of them have invested in supporting SCORE clients, and empowering small business entrepreneurs in our community. 

Since 1964, SCORE has provided entrepreneurs with the education, training and resources they need to start and grow successful small businesses. SCORE’s 10,000+ volunteers serve small business owners in over 1,500 communities across the United States – including dozens who have made a positive difference right here in Newtown. 

Now it’s your turn to consider putting your experience and expertise to work on behalf of aspiring small business people. SCORE relies on volunteers to help small businesses thrive.
